Control the information you share on Flock Social

Managing your privacy settings is an essential part of protecting your personal information online. In this guide, we’ll show you how to safeguard your information, control what you share, and report any violations on Flock Social.

1. Be Mindful of What You Post

You are in control of how much information you share on Flock Social. Think before you post—avoid sharing private or sensitive details, such as:

  • Your home address or personal contact information

  • Financial details like credit card numbers

  • Any private conversations or documents

Additionally, be cautious about sharing your location publicly. While connecting with others is great, consider who can see your posts and what they reveal about you.

Before posting, ask yourself:

Who am I sharing this with?How much and what type of information am I sharing?How many people can see it?Can I trust everyone who will see this post?

Not everyone has the same definition of privacy. If a friend or connection posts something about you that you prefer to keep private, politely ask them to remove it. Likewise, be respectful—if someone asks you to take down a post about them, honor their request.

2. Reporting a Violation

If someone posts your personal information (such as a private phone number, home address, or credit card information), this is not allowed on Flock Social.

How to Report a Violation:

  • Step 1: Make sure you have a Flock Social account.

  • Step 2: Go to the offending profile (if public) or locate the post containing private information.

  • Step 3: Use the report function to flag the post or profile.

  • Step 4: If the issue is urgent, contact support directly at flocksocial.net/contact.

Once a report is submitted, our team will review it. If the reported content violates our Terms of Service, the account may be temporarily suspended until the information is removed.

3. How to Report a Post or Profile

Reporting a Post:

If you find a post that violates our privacy or community guidelines, follow these steps:1️⃣ Click on the report option under the post.2️⃣ Select the most relevant reason for your report. If unsure, choose "Other" and describe the issue.3️⃣ Submit your report and our team will investigate.

Reporting a Public Profile:

Private profiles cannot be accessed or reported, but if you encounter a public profile violating our rules:1️⃣ Visit the user’s profile.2️⃣ Click the report button on their profile page.3️⃣ Select a reason and submit your report.

4. Additional Safety Tips

To keep your Flock Social account secure, follow these best practices:✅ Use a strong password that you don’t reuse on other sites.✅ Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.✅ Be cautious of suspicious messages asking for your personal information.✅ Regularly check your privacy settings to control who can see your posts and profile.
