Abuse, Harassment, and Cyberbullying Policy

Freedom of expression and open dialogue are core principles, but we do not tolerate abusive behavior, harassment, or any form of cyberbullying. This policy outlines what constitutes a violation and the enforcement actions we take.

🚨 What Violates This Policy?

🔴 Targeted Harassment

Harassment is repeated, malicious behavior intended to humiliate, intimidate, or degrade an individual. The following actions are prohibited:

• Repeatedly posting or replying with harmful content aimed at an individual.

• Creating accounts solely for harassment or to target a person or group.

• Mentioning, tagging, or calling out users with malicious intent.

🔴 Encouraging or Inciting Harassment

We strictly prohibit encouraging others to harass, dox, or target individuals or groups. This includes:

• Calling for others to attack, bully, or intimidate someone.

• Sharing personal information (doxxing) to encourage harassment.

• Urging offline harm, such as stalking or real-life confrontation.

💡 Note: This applies to both individual and group harassment.

🔴 Unwanted Sexual Content & Objectification

While some consensual adult content is permitted on Flock Social, unwanted sexual content is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• Sending unsolicited adult media (images, videos, GIFs).

• Unwanted sexual discussions about someone’s body.

• Soliciting sexual acts without consent.

• Sexualizing an individual in a degrading manner.

🔴 Insults & Hate Speech

We take action against insults, slurs, and profanity when used to harass, intimidate, or degrade others.

• Severe, repetitive insults → May require post removal or account suspension.

• Moderate, isolated insults → May result in reduced post visibility.

💡 Context matters: Not all offensive terms are violations—intent and repetition are key factors.

🔴 Denial of Violent Events

Flock Social prohibits content that denies the existence of mass casualty events when shared with harmful intent. This includes:

• Denying verified mass murders, school shootings, terrorist attacks, or disasters.

• Calling such events "hoaxes" or labeling victims as "fake" or "actors."

⚖️ Enforcement Actions & Consequences

When a violation occurs, Flock Social considers several factors before enforcing penalties, including severity, intent, and past offenses.

📌 Possible Consequences for Violations:

• 📉 Reduced Post Visibility → Lower ranking in search results & feeds.

• 🔇 Restricted Post Engagement → Prevents others from sharing or amplifying harmful content.

• 🚫 Post Removal → The violating content is deleted.

• ⏳ Read-Only Mode → Temporary suspension from posting.

• ⛔ Account Suspension → For users dedicated to harassment or abuse.

💡 Repeat offenses or severe violations may result in permanent account suspension.

📢 Reporting & Appeals

🔍 How to Report a Violation:

• Select the "Report" button on the offending post or profile.

• Choose the appropriate violation category (e.g., harassment, hate speech, doxxing).

• Submit the report for review.
