At Flock Social, we provide options for embedding and promoting your live streams from third-party platforms. Whether you’re streaming on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), or TikTok, you can embed or share your streams across our forums and social services to engage with your audience.

Before proceeding, please review our rules, limitations, and Terms of Service (TOS) to ensure compliance.

Rules & Limitations

✅ Age Restrictions – You must be 13+ in the U.S. and 16+ in other countries to post live stream content.✅ Allowed Platforms – Only use known, trusted streaming services (e.g., YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter).✅ No Inappropriate Content – Even if your stream itself is appropriate, it must not be linked from an inappropriate site.✅ Self-Promotion – You can promote your stream, but excessive promotion without engaging in the community may result in action against your account.✅ TOS Compliance – All live streams must follow Flock Social’s Terms of Service (flocksocial.net/tos).✅ Report Violations – If you see inappropriate content, report it via flocksocial.net/contact.

How to Embed Your Live Stream on Flock Social

You can embed live streams in Forum 1 (Main) using HTML embed codes or direct links. Follow these steps based on your streaming platform:

1. Embedding a YouTube Live Stream

1️⃣ Go to your YouTube live stream.2️⃣ Click the Share button, then select Embed.3️⃣ Copy the HTML <iframe> embed code.4️⃣ In Forum 1, create a post and paste the embed code into the HTML widget.5️⃣ Adjust the width and height within the HTML code for proper display.

💡 If embedding doesn’t work, simply post the YouTube link instead.

2. Embedding a Twitch Live Stream

Twitch requires a specific method to embed streams properly.

1️⃣ Go to your Twitch channel.2️⃣ Click the Share button and select Embed.3️⃣ Copy the iframe code (Twitch blocks regular URLs from embedding).4️⃣ Paste it into the HTML widget in Forum 1.5️⃣ Adjust dimensions as needed.

💡 Want to embed Twitch chat? Click Chat Embed after copying the main embed code.

3. Sharing a Live Stream Link in Forum 2

Forum 2 does not support HTML embedding, but you can still promote your stream:

Post a direct link to your live stream.
Add a short description to encourage engagement.
Format your link in bold or highlight it in blue for visibility.

This is ideal for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok streams that do not support direct embedding.

Alternatives: Advertising Your Live Streams on Other Flock Social Services

🚀 Shared Image Gallery – Upload an image or thumbnail from your stream with a link in the description.📂 File Share – Upload past recorded streams (VODs) as video files if they fit within size limits.📣 Comments & Profile Posts – Mention your stream on your public profile to drive traffic.

💡 Important: Over-posting just to promote your streams without contributing to the community may lead to a warning or account suspension.

Troubleshooting & Support

If you experience issues:

Double-check your HTML code and stream link.
Test your embed on different browsers and devices.
If Twitch embedding fails, refer to their official API Help Center at https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/embed/.
If issues persist, contact Flock Social Support at flocksocial.net/contact.

Copy the I frame, then put that into the HTML code. Do not use the link especially for Twitch, but we recommend not using the link for the widgets on our site for pretty much all/any social media service/video and or/streaming service online on our site as they block it for most sites unless you imbed/embed it like this. If you want to imbed/embed chat also at the top of the screen shot in red, you can see we circled the word/clickable linked button chat, click that after your done with this/the first part, and or unless you did not want this/the first part and only the chat vise versa.
